Selection Criteria

When selecting our players, we are looking for young ladies that demonstrate above average basketball skills, fundamentals, and the ability to communicate well, excellent athletic abilities, noteworthy basketball experience, and poise.

Tryout Format

The main purpose of the tryout process is to select the best overall individuals for our AAU organization. Here is a brief description of what to expect:

We will start the session with a series of drills which will consist of showcasing your ability to dribble, shoot, and perform other technique requirements. Candidates whose basketball skills give them a “reasonable chance” of making the squad will be asked to continue to future try-outs.

Necessary Paperwork

The following paper work must be completed prior to the start of tryouts.

• Try-out/Player information form and waiver
• Copy of birth certificate
